PRESENCIA HINDU (LOS VEDAS) EN AMERICA



El mismo Colón estaba como loco por encontrar una nueva vía para llegar a India, incluso arriesgó su vida y la de su tripulación para ello. Cuando redescubrió el nuevo mundo en 1492 llamó a sus habitantes ‘Indios,’ pensando que había llegado a ella. En un sentido no estaba equivocado ya que muchas ruinas en México, Honduras, Guatemala, Perú y Bolivia, delatan una antigua influencia de la India. En Copan, Honduras, que parece haber sido una ciudad de dioses por sus ruinas de veintidós templos a orillas de un río, encontramos figuras de jinetes con turbantes montados en elefantes, lo que ha sorprendido a los investigadores del tema; incluso una figura de Buda fue encontrada allí en 1892. El renombrado investigador británico, Hewitt dice que “la gran migración tomó lugar al establecerse el comercio marítimo en el océano Indico. El ritual del mar prueba que los inmigrantes, antes de salir de Asia, celebraron un festival al dios de la lluvia, muy similar en sus detalles a los sacrificios que se celebran en India...” Después de presentar muchas otras evidencias el investigador concluye: “No puedo imaginar cómo es posible dudar que los indios de América vinieron de Asia, algunos de ellos pasando por China y Japón, y otros en forma directa.” El mismo autor dice que India no sólo introdujo cultura y dioses en América sino también el algodón, el cual fue primero utilizado en India y China y luego traído a América. El algodón fue conocido en Europa cuando las fuerzas de Alejandro el Grande lo llevaron como una curiosidad.

Con razón el autor español López en su libro ‘Las razas Arias del Perú’ dice que cada página de poesía de este pueblo lleva la marca del Ramayana y el Mahabharata. Incluso el sánscrito- sostiene el estudioso Chaman lal- era la lengua secreta de sus gobernantes, tal como el vocabulario Ario-Quechua preparado por López lo confirma. Continuará.
